Community Service
Every quarter of the school year, each Cadet must complete 4 hours of community service. There are many ways Cadets can do this, but as well as that, there are many JROTC sponsored activities that involve and benefit may parts of the community. Some of those activities are as follows:

Community Assistance Projects
Soccer Sidelines
Every year, members of the JROTC program assist the school’s soccer teams in keeping track of and retrieving soccer balls that are kicked out of the field. This assists in speeding up the pace of play

Clothing Barn
Periodically throughout the year, cadets assist with the transportation and sorting of donated clothes which are made available to members of the community who need them.

Thanksgiving Baskets
The JROTC program tries to donate several Thanksgiving baskets every year to needy families in the community who cannot afford some of the food. The food is donated by the cadets in the program.

Christmas Baskets
Similarly to the Thanksgiving Baskets, we gather gifts and other holiday items for a few less fortunate families in the community.

Pig Roast/Spotlight on Students
The Spotlight on Students is a night where displays are set up throughout the school to show the kinds of things that are done in the school and special talents of our students. The event is open to the community. It allows those who do not attend the school or have children in the school a chance to see what the school does for itself and the community. A Pig Roast is also done to provide ree food to those who show up.f

Blood Drive
The JROTC program sponsors an American Red Cross Blood Drive every year where we make calls to members of the community in an attempt to gather support for blood donations to be made. The main focus of this blood drive is to give the high school students the chance to donate. We hope to get as much blood as possible

Veterans Park in Kezar Falls
Around Memorial Day, Cadets volunteer to help clean up, maintain, and replace flags at the nearby Veterans Park in Kezar Falls.

Trash Pick up
As a community service project, Cadets sometimes opt to clean up trash in different areas at the school or in the community
