Financial Report
- We spent $2900 last year more than we took in ($1800 was the speaker equipment).
- * So far, we purchased the lady bugs for $2300. We are in the black $1700.
3) Spookatcular Soiree
- We lost $9 on the Soiree, but we have a lot of things that we will be able to use next year.
4) Genevieveís
- Items are coming on November 8th.
- Dates we will have items being picked up
- Laura - 11/10 from 5-7 pm
- Alison -11/16 from 2:00 - 3:30 pm
- Angie and Melissa - 11/19 from 8-9 am
Feedback about Spooktacular Soiree
*Nix the pumpkins for next year.
*It was a good turnout.
*Different way to judge the costumes. Pull the bleachers down and have the kids stand on them.
*Do the haunting part on the other side of the curtain instead of the stage.
*Next year we could have a card to punch, so we would know if a child has been at a station before.
*Could scatter candy under the bed and they can grab candy under, instead of grab bags.
*We could have candy at each station
*We had the scary punch - we would need a double batch.
*The stage could be the food area and the students stay there to eat.
*If they bring a nonperishable food, you get 50 cents off your ticket.
*Carole can get goodies/prizes at wholesale.
Date for Seadogs game
Date for the Sea Dogs game is May 18th at 6:00 pm and we get the player, walk the field, throw the first pitch. Scoreboard announcement and pa announcement. We will start selling them now ñ we have 200 general admission tickets. They will make great stocking stuffers. We will not have an ending date. You can buy them up until the day of the game.
We can open it up to other schools to attend.
Check in about Sundaes w/ Santa on Sunday, December 11
- Tanya will face paint.
- Needs (IC, Toppings, etc.)
- It would be helpful to set a budget, so we have an idea.
- We will check on getting ice cream from Leslie's dad or Route 160 Ice Cream.
- Laura will get some high schoolers to be elves
- Food Drive is starting next week. We have boxes for each class. Carole will decorate them and make them fancy. She will make the flyers and personalize them for each class. We would like a chart of progress for each class. It will be marked by every few days. We will post things on the bulletin board. Each Tuesday and Friday will be the collecting for the food drive. Carol will come in and count. We will try to get a turkey donated to each family.
- Phat Boys diner donated a gift certificate for a free kids meal for students if they eat with a paying student. We will have a turkey hat for the class that brings the most. The class will also earn an extra recess. The food will be lined up for the students to walk through with the teacher in a turkey hat. It will be November 18 at 1:30. Setting up at 1:00 pm.
Holiday Show - We will sell hot cocoa and cookies. Also discussed selling hot cider. We will be considerate of allergies of students. Sue will check on allergies.
