Here you will find information on the music departments ensembles,
performances, and events.
February 7th - 5th and 6th grade chorus begins again for the second semester. Rehearsals will now be held on Tuesdays from 2:10-4:00pm in the SVMS Band Room.
February 16th - Music students from the Middle School and the High School will be showcasing their talent during the "Empty Bowls" fundraiser. See Danette Kerrigan FMI.
March 2nd and 3rd - 7th and 8th Grade Honors Festival at Westbrook Middle School
March 10th - 6th Grade Honors Festival at Kennebunk Middle School
March 17th - Choirs in grades 7-12 will be singing The National Anthem at the Portland Pirates Game and the High School Band will
be playing for the "Bands in the Stands" program throughout the game. Discount tickets available- see Miss Thomas or Mr. Gray FMI.
May 14th - All Choirs Concert for students in grades 5-12. The concert will be held at 6:30pm at SVMS.
May 16th - All Bands Concert for students in grades 5-12. The concert will be held at 6:30pm at SVMS.
May 17th, 18th, and 19th - All State Music Festival in Orono, Maine.
