This message is for all the boys in grade 4, 5 & 6 who participated in the Sacopee Valley Rec Council's basketball run by Nate Carpenter. The black and blue reversible uniform tops need to be returned as soon as possible. All 5th and 6th graders who still have the uniform can place it into a plastic shopping bag with the child's name labelled on it and turn it into the main office at the Middle school. 4th graders who still haven't turned in their unifrom may drop it off at the High School office, care of Nate Carpenter or can you call Nate Carpenter for other arrangements.

Baseball evaluations for Sacopee Valley Rec Council major and miner leagues will take place this Sunday, March 18th at the Sacopee Valley High School gym. Miner league will run from 3:30-5:00 PM and major league will run from 5:00-6:30 PM. Again this is just for major and miner league baseball. If for some reason you missed both registration nights please still plan on attending these evaluation clinics.

The Sacopee Valley Rec Council is holding baseball and softball registration for ages 5-16 on Thursday, March 1st from 5:30-7:00 at the South Hiram Elementary Gym. Please note that if there is no school on Thursday, March 1st due to weather conditions the sign ups will be rescheduled to Thursday, March 8th from 5:00-6:30 PM. A discount of $10 per person is available only on the day of sign ups.

Good evening. Kevin Murphy, the Varsity Girls Soccer coach, would like to invite girls in grades 3-8 to participate in a 4 against 4 indoor soccer tournament on Sunday, March 4th. Sign ups for the tournament will be from noon to 12:30 on Sunday. Games will begin immediately after sign ups. Interested girls should bring, water, sneakers, shin guards and other appropriate clothing to participate. There will be different contests to participate in while teams wait to play and an over-all winner will be crowned at the end. Thank you.

Due to the inclement weather forecast for overnight and early Saturday morning the Senior Class district wide bottle Drive that was scheduled for tomorrow morning Saturday, February 25th has been postponed. The bottle drive has been rescheduled for next Saturday, March 3rd starting at 9 AM

Due to today's weather the play, Noises Off has been canceled for this evening Thursday, January 12th. The rescheduled time has been moved to Monday, January 16th at 7:00 PM. The rest of the show times remain the same, Friday, January 13th and Saturday, January 14th show time is at 7:00 Pm and there will be two matinee's on Sunday, January 15th, one at 1:00 PM and at 5:00 PM. Also there will be a public supper this Saturday, January 14th from 5:00 to 6:30 PM at the Riverside Methodist Church. The dinner is by donation only. All money raised will be used by Sacopee students who are traveling to Costa Rica this summer to help rebuild a school damaged by an earthquake in 2009. These students will be working for a week at the school in Costa Rica to replace the floor in the play area that is unsafe and they will also be painting 2 classrooms.

Good Afternoon, This is a reminder that the student activity fee for winter sports is due now. The activity fee for high school students is $25.00 and $15.00 for middle school students. If you are unable to pay the fee you may request, in writing, a waiver for the winter season. If the activity fee or waiver is not received, your student athlete will be unable to participate in games. If you should have any questions regarding the fee please contact the athletic office at 625-8507 or the Superintendent's Office at 625-2490. Good evening. This is a correction to the Sacopee Valley Rec. Council Learn to Skate and Ice Hockey program ad that recently ran in the Shopping Guide. The program will begin January 8th depending on ice conditions and run every Sunday afternoon for 6 weeks. This program is free for kids of all ages. All participants must wear a helmet. Stay up to date with rec programs by checking out our website sacopeerec.com and our facebook page. Again the learn to skate and ice hockey recreation programs will start January 8th, not January 2nd as the ad states.

MSAD #55.Based on the latest information from the Maine Emergency Management Agency and the National Weather Service we will be delaying the opening of school by one day. Due to the inclement weather we are moving our teacher workshop from Monday August 29^th to Tuesday August 30^th.

Tuesday will no longer be a student day. Instead the first day of school day for Students in K-5 and grade 9 will be Wednesday August 31^st.All Students in grades K-12 will attend school on Thursday September 1^st.

This is an important message for band students in grades 7-12 who are planning on going to the State soccer game tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 6th. Students need to arrive at the Middle School and meet in the music room by 8:00 AM. The bus will leave for the game at 8:30 AM. Again the bus will leave promptly at 8:30 AM.

2011 yearbooks will be on sale tomorrow Friday, Sept. 24th immediately following the pep rally. The pre-sale price will be $40.00, that is $5.00 off the the regular price of $45.00. We will also be raffling off a yearbook. Tickets for the raffle will be on sale tomorrow as well after the pep rally. Cost for the raffle tickets are $1.00 for one and $3.00 for 5. Thank you.
